Agence Bernard Buhler Architectes, Paris France, 2017
A lot of older urban areas have to deal with an aging population and an aging housing stock. In some cases it is very hard to adjust buildings to these new demands. In this example an interesting strategy was used to combine the renovation of existing housing blocks and the integration of new housing blocks and facilities for elderly wrapped in a clear border between public and private.
