Osterwold – Schmidt Architekten. Ertfurt Germany, 2012
Inner cities, both in smaller and bigger cities, are facing difficulties in terms of liveability. Retail program is disappearing, accessibility is a problem and building in a historical and tight context can be complicated. In this project in Erfurt an interesting solution was made in which both the existing buildings and new buildings work together in access of the dwellings and outdoor space to facilitate high quality housing.
